William Bruce Samis

Passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Good Samaritan Seniors Complex in Alliston, ON, he was just shy of his 98th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Ivy Jean Samis who predeceased him in 2004. Cherished father of Gary Samis and daughter-in-law Roseanne Samis, Cheryl Adshead and predeceased by his children Marelene Grix- Samis (Fred) and Keith Samis, Proud grandfather of Tammy Samis, predeceased Tracey Ann Samis, Dawna Grix-Samis, Christine Grix-Samis, Shawn Grix- Samis, Daylin Grix- Samis, Ivy Ann and Bruce. Loving Great- Grandfather of Brandon Samis, Adrianna Samis, Michael Del Monte, Samantha Samis, Keira Tracey Ann, Avery, Aiden Mackley, Salem, Theordore and Steven. 

Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at Strong Cemetery in the spring of 2025.
