MR. WILLIAM VERNON REECE of Sundridge After a brief illness at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday October 28, 2014 in his 83rd year. Bill Reece, beloved husband of Joan Lomax-Reece (nee Stanbridge) of Sundridge. Dear father of Ken Reece (Carol) of Chicago, Illinois, Joe Rivera (Yvette) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Mindy Trank (Steve) of Worthington, Ohio. Loving grandfather of Kendra, Cody, Skyler, Ninah, Emily and Lindsey. Cherished brother of Joyce (Jay) of North Carolina. Fondly remembered by his special friend Margaret Rissi of Las Vegas, Nevada and his many friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Saturday November 1, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. A tribute service of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467 will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday November 1, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Bill Reece will be conducted in the chapel on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
