MR. WILLIAM McAUGHEY "Bill" Of Sprucedale Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday August 28, 2010. Mr. Bill McAughey was in his 101st year. Beloved husband of the late Ada White and the late Rosella "Goldie" Clements. Dear father of the late Jean Armstrong (late Cliff), Marjorie Burns (late George), the late Elwood "Pete" McAughey (Issy) and John McAughey (Patricia). Step father of Murray Cook. Proud grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather of many. Bill will be fondly remembered by all his family, friends and many card players in the area. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. McAughey will be conducted in the Faith Chapel in Sprucedale commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 31, 2010. Pastor Don Nicholson officiating. Interment of cremated remains in the Royston Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Almaguin Palliative Care Team would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
