Peacefully at the Carlisle Retirement Residence in Hamilton on Monday June 14, 2021. Allan Ireland, formerly of Waterdown, was in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of late Joan Audrey Stevens and the late Margaret Ruby Edmunds.
Father of Susan and Charles, Deborah and Jim, Mary Anne and Darvey. Step father to Wendy Ashton, Pam Fitzgerald and  Robert Edmunds.
Survived by one sister Bertha Capel and predeceased by brothers Russell and Murray.
Fondly remembered by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren
At the request of the deceased, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. Interment at Knox United Church Cemetery, Kearney Ontario.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls, Ontario.
