MR. WILLIAM HOWARD BURGESS "Bill" of Burk's Falls Veteran of the Korean War Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday June 27, 2011. Mr. Bill Burgess was in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Turnbull) for 51 years. Dear father of Julie, Kevin (Carol) and Darryl (Leslie) all of Burk's Falls. Cherished Poppy of Kally, Taylor, Sydney, Madison, Xander and Mackenzie. Dear brother of Dorothy Smith of Kingston, Ruth Laviolette of Red Deer Alberta and Barry Burgess of Ottawa. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Burgess will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday June 30, 2011. Doreen Mason officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment of cremated remains in the Burk's Falls Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
