MR. WILFRED HOLLARD "Wilf" Of Magnetawan Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday April 20, 2010. Mr. Wilf Hollard was in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Fran Hollard (nee Thomson). Dear father of John Hollard (Karen), Donna Kivell (Vince) and Mary Hollard (Steve Plumbtree). Predeceased by daughter Lynda. Cherished grandfather of Michael Hollard, Lori Hollard (Mark McGlynn), Faryn Monk (Ken), Travis Kivell, Shelly-Lynn Long (Jim Sangster) and Shawn Long (Kelly). Proud great grandfather of Chantel and James McGlynn, Todd Monk, James Sangster, Jessica-Lynn and Franky Long. Wilf is survived by his brother Gord Hollard (Verna) and predeceased by brothers Bruce, Don and his wife Audrey The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday April 22, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service of tribute will be conducted in the funeral home by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 394 of Dunchurch at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday evening. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Hollard will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 23, 2010. Maureen Ellison officiating.
