MRS. WANDA SHARON MURDY (nee Ball) of Emsdale Peacefully while surrounded by her family at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday June 21, 2010. Mrs. Wanda Murdy was in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Bob Murdy (2005). Dear mother of Rob Murdy (Brenda), Pam Strom (Steve), Chris Comte (Jaques) and Carla Gilpin (Arlie). Cherished grandmother to Meghan, Lauren, Kain, Joshua, Alexandria and Keaton. Wanda is survived by siblings Ernie, Pat, Esther, Gail, Dennis, Roma, Debbie, Shirley and Helen, and predeceased by parents Velma and Ernest Ball Sr. and siblings Ellery, Marlene and Hilda. Loving daughter in law of Norma Murdy. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday June 23, 2010. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Murdy will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 24, 2010. Reverend Doctor Dorothy Wilson officiating.
