Peacefully at the Pines in Bracebridge on Monday March 1, 2021 in her 96th year.
Verna Maynard (nee Kennett), beloved wife of the late Stanley Maynard.
Loving mother of Edward (Barbara), late Brian (Nancy), Diane Moorhouse (Don), Michael (Linda), Janice Trotter (late Carl) and Bette Roberts (Rod).
Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by her brother Doug Kennett, sister Marjorie Armstrong and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements for the late Mrs. Verna Maynard are being handled privately with the family and have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls.
In lieu of flowers, if desired memorial donations to the Pines Support Committee or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
