MRS. VERNA MURIEL COOPER of North Bay and formerly of South River Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday November 11, 2017 in her 76th year. Verna Cooper (nee Austin), beloved wife of the late Ron Cooper. Dear mother of Juanita Cooper, Patricia Rogers (Don), Natalie Stuart and Maria Cooper. Loving grandmother of Natasha, Joshua, Holly, Matthew and Luke (Kyra). Cherished sister of Helen and predeceased by sister Dorothy. Fondly remembered by her dear friend Audrey, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel on Friday November 17, 2017 from 10-11 A.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Verna Cooper will follow in the chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend David LeGrand officiating. Spring interment at the Chapman Cemetery in Magnetawan. If desired, memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre - Palliative Care would be sincerely appreciated by the family in appreciation for the hard work and wonderful care by the nurses, doctors and staff.
