MRS. VERA ELIZABETH RICHARDS of Sand Lake Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Sunday September 4, 2011. Mrs. Vera Richards was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late William Richards. Dear mother of William (Johanna), Darrell (Barbara), Jeanne O'Hara (Gord) and Darlene Diceman (Steven). Cherished grandmother of Gavin, Scott, Troy, Kirk, Jeanine, Shayne, Darryl, Dustin and Krystin. Great grandmother of many great grandchildren. Vera is survived by her sister Annie Hanson and her brother John Evison. The family will host a celebration of Vera's life on Saturday September 10, 2011 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion H. White Memorial Branch #276 in Kearney, Ontario. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls, Ontario. 705-382-3222.
