MRS. VALERIE ANN RAND of Sprucedale Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Saturday March 15, 2014. Mrs. Valerie Rand, beloved wife of the late William Edward Rand, was in her 75th year. Loving mother of Michael Rand (Kelly Decan), Laura Crompton-deVries (Peter deVries) and the late Karen. Proud grandmother of Chad, Michelle, Dezarye, Peter and Lacey. Survived by siblings: Irene, Rita, Ronnie, Pat, Laureen, Robert and predeceased by Ray and Sharon. Valerie will be fondly remembered by Neil Austin and all of her family and friends. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls.
