MRS. THIRZA HILLMAN (nee Giddy) of Magnetawan Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Sunday March 8, 2009. Mrs. Thirza Hillman was in her 83rd year. Dear mother of Peter Hillman (Brenda), Judy Clarke (Wilson) and Richard Hillman (Caryn). Beloved best friend and long time companion of Sandy Coombs. Cherished grandmother of Shana (Glenn), Sarah (Ryan), Carrie (Peter), Ken (Shayni), Wes (Sarah). Great grandmother to Maddison and Xander. Thirza will be fondly remembered by Arthur Hillman, Maggie Coombs and all her dear family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday March 11, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Hillman will be conducted in Trinity United Church in Magnetawan commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 12, 2009. Reverend David Legrande officiating. Spring interment in Chapman Cemetery in Magnetawan.
