MR. STAN STICKLAND Of Sundridge Peacefully at his residence on Monday March 15, 2010 in his 80th year. Stan Stickland, beloved husband of the late Helen Stickland (nee McLaren). Loving father of Jim Stickland, Linda (Tom) Hunter, Sharon (Greg) Smith and Patrick (Tammy) Stickland. Cherished grandfather of Alli, Stacy, Chris, Trudy, Ben, Stephie, Katie, Thomas, Piper and great grandfather of James, Isaac, Oliver, Keaton, Elliot, Grace and Ava. Dear brother of Dorothy (Ab) Culbert and Arlene (Wilf) Rettinger. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and many friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Wednesday March 17, 2010 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Stan Stickland will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday March 18, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Rick Callery officiating. Spring interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
