Shirley O'Doherty

MRS. SHIRLEY JEAN O'DOHERTY (nee Campbell) of Sundridge and formerly of Richmond Hill Peacefully surrounded by family at home on Wednesday August 2, 2017 in her 85th year. Shirley Jean O'Doherty, beloved wife for 61 years of the late Kenneth O'Doherty. Loving mother of Karen, Sheila (late Neil), Elaine and Paul (Tiffini). Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Justin), Ryan, Ashley (Ian), Logan and great grandmother "GG" to Gracyn. Shirley was deeply devoted to her family and friends and her strong passion for living life to the fullest will forever be remembered. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by loved ones and in her garden at her home on Lake Bernard. Three months to the day Shirley and Ken are now together again. A service to celebrate Shirley's life will take place at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge on Friday September 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
