MRS. SHEILA CATHERINE MURDY Of Kearney Peacefully at the Toronto Western Hospital in Toronto on Wednesday June 6, 2012 in her 62nd year. Sheila Murdy (nee Simpson), beloved wife of the late Ronald Joseph Murdy. Dear mother of Stan and Victor Murdy of Kearney. Loving grandmother of Brittany Lee-Anne Murdy. Cherished sister of Shirley Willett (Gary), Raymond Simpson, Barbara Simpson (Norm) and Carmen Whitelock (Craig). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday June 11, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Sheila Murdy will be conducted in the chapel on Tuesday June 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating and cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
