MISS RUTH MILLAR Formerly of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Cassellholme Home for the Aged in North Bay in her 94th year. Beloved daughter of the late James Wallace and Ida Millar (nee Taylor) and predeceased by brothers James and his wife Edna (nee Green) and Wallace who died in France, June 1944. He is survived by his wife Birdie (nee Judd). Dear aunt of Marie (Millar) Campbell (Bev) of South River and great aunt to Melanie, Susan, Sandra and their families. Ruth left home over 70 years ago to attend Toronto Bible College and to work her whole career as a secretary for the T. Eaton Company, but Burk's Falls was always dear to her heart. She was born at Thorn Hill farm in Ryerson Township, January 27, 1917 and died peacefully May 26, 2010 with her niece at her side. No memorial service will be held and a private family burial has taken place at the Burk's Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto would be appreciated. Family may be contacted at P.O.
