MRS. RUTH IRENE DRUMMOND Formerly of South River-Sundridge Peacefully at the Nipissing Manor in Corbeil on Friday April 19, 2013 in her 87th year. Ruth Drummond (nee Willan), beloved wife of the late Mac Drummond. Dear mother of Erla Drummond (Kim Stewart), Deborah Aubin (Jesse James), Roxanna Jill Campbell (Wayne Fuga), Paula Drummond and predeceased by son Mac Willan Drummond. Loving grandmother of Ben Aubin, Justin Aubin, Beth Campbell, Troy Drummond, Debbie Anne Graves, Kate Mack, Sarah Jane Drummond, Valerie Drummond, Gloriana Ferreira, Tony Ferreira and seven great grandchildren. Cherished sister of Roslind Dundas (Harold) and predeceased by sister Jean and brothers Gaines, Edwin and Bill. Fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Jane Drummond and her many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday April 25, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 noon. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Ruth Drummond will be conducted at the Zion United Church in Sundridge on Thursday April 25, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. Spring interment at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Sundridge-Strong Union Public Library or the Zion United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
