RUSS IVISON Of Magnetawan Peacefully at his home in Magnetawan on Tuesday December 17, 2013. Russ Ivison, devoted and beloved husband of the late Pauline Christianson, was in his 73rd year. Loving father of Len Ivison (Mary Lou) and Todd Ivison (Ruth). Stepfather of John Christianson (Liz) and the late Neil Christianson. Proud grandfather of Ben, Dave, Jessica, Tanner, Kale, Luke and Sean. Russ is survived by his brother Joe, sister Heather and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends and especially by his special friend Gerry and loyal caregiver Zelina. A celebration of life for Russ and Pauline will be held at the Magnetawan Grill and Grocery on Sunday December 22, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. If desired, memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
