MR. RUSSELL THOMAS HIBBERT of South River Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday January 19, 2014 in his 82nd year. Russ Hibbert, beloved husband of 38 years of Bonnie Hibbert (nee French). Dear father of Lillian Hibbert, Victoria Pyrch (Randy), Joann Roe (Bill), Jay Hibbert (Stacy) and Dawn Doty. Loving grandfather of Kory Logan (Jolie), Candice Logan (Tomas Margaitis), Kelly-Ann Nicholson (Cam), Kerry-Lee Roe, William Thomas Roe and great grandfather of Daimon Logan. Cherished brother of Windsor, Gorgina and Winnifred. Predeceased by parents Winnifred and William Hibbert and brother Bill Hibbert. Fondly remembered by his 7 nieces, 5 nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday January 24, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. A tribute service of the Sundridge Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 467 will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday January 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Russ Hibbert will follow in the chapel with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
