Roy Purdy

MR. ROY PURDY of Brampton and formerly of Kearney Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Bethell Hospice in Caledon. Roy Purdy was in his 67th year. Dear father of James (Lisa), Michael and Julie (Jumah). Proud grandfather of Daniel, Emily, Olivia and Adam. Cherished brother of Foskea, Grietje (Robert) and John (Sarita). Beloved uncle of Sarah, Serena, Kate (Brian), Margaret (Brad) and Mary (Jeremy). Roy will be fondly remembered by all of his friends and family. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday August 4, 2016 from 11 to 1p.m. A graveside service will follow in Knox United Cemetery in Kearney. A memorial service will be held in Cheltenham Baptist Church in Caledon at a later date.
