MR. ROBERT J. FERRANTE Of Burk's Falls Suddenly in New Port Richey in Florida on Saturday January 29, 2011. Mr. Robert Ferrante was in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of Valerie (nee Brown). Dear father of Dean (Janice) and Steven Ferrante. Cherished grandfather of Jake, Robyn, Christina and Ashley. Survived by siblings Barb White (Terry), Joan Player (late Bill), Joe Ferrante (Carol), Marlene Gavel (Jim), Rick Ferrante (Marlene) and predeceased by brother Paul Ferrante. Rob will be fondly remembered by all his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday February 5, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Ferrante will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday February 5, 2011. Spring interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Almaguin Palliative Care Team would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
