MRS. RITA LILLIAN BALL of South River Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Sunday July 7, 2013 in her 65th year. Rita Ball (nee Barry), beloved wife of Colin Ball. Dear mother of Bill Ball, Joyce Ball and Kerry Schmidt (Terry). Loving grandmother of Michaela, Christopher, Aidan, Christina and step grandmother of Daniel, Stephanie and Katelyn. Cherished sister of Betty Hutchinson (Donald), Charles Barry (Eleanor) and Francis Barry (Julia). Predeceased by father Gordon Barry, mother Kathereen Barry (nee Diver) and brother John Barry. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Rita Ball will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday July 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with the Pastor Rick Callery officiating. Interment at the South River Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
