MR. RICHARD POPE of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in Thursday September 4, 2014. Mr. Richard Pope, beloved husband of Maria, was in his 85th year. Step father of Du Rose (Lesley), Ron Rose (Christine) and the late Lisa Rose. Proud grandfather of Cameron, Mitchell and Sadie. Richard is predeceased by his parents Godfrey and Dorothy Pope, sister Ann Hoyle and survived by brother in law Phillip Hoyle. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday September 20, 2014 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Pope will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday September 20, 2014 with Father John Albao officiating. If desired, memorial donations the CNIB or the Alzheimer's Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
