Richard Loney beloved husband of Ruby Loney (nee Haggart). Loving father of Sharon Harrison (John) and Cindy Thoma (Frank). Cherished grandfather of Jessica and Holly. Predeceased by siblings Wilfred, Florence, Donald, Doris and John. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and many friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Tuesday May 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #390, South River will conduct a tribute service in the chapel on Tuesday May 26, 2009 at 6:30 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Richard Loney will be conducted at the Chalmers United Church, South River on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at 11 A.M. with the Reverend Joan Smith officiating. Interment at the South River Cemetery, South River. If desired memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Grove Park Home would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
