Peacefully at home with his family on Saturday November 16, 2024. Rick Benn, beloved husband of Mary Jean (nee Diggins), was in his 71st year.

Dear father of Jennifer (Andrew), David (Tina), and Julie (Eric).

Proud grandfather of Riley (Clarissa), Victoria (Mike), Nick (Katelyn), Autumn, Aaron (Taitum), Trevor, Melissa and Zane.

Great grandfather of Brayden, Olivia, and Jaxon.

Loving brother of Mary, Jim (Marlene), Eleanor (Arthur), Walt (Karen), Lydia (Doug) and predeceased by Gord (Gail) and Barbara (late Howard). 

Brother-in-law of William (Paula).

Rick will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A service to celebrate Rick’s life will be held at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls commencing at 11am on Saturday November 30, 2024, with Reverend Sandra Jenkinson officiating.
