MR. RAYMOND J. BOTHAM Of Burk's Falls Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday March 9, 2011. My Ray Botham was in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Eileen Botham (nee Worsfold). Dear father of Cheryl Botham (Jamie), Karen Botham (Gord), Elli Thorne (Ken) and Kathy Botham (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Josh, Samantha, Garry, Ayla (Bruce), Kalli (Travis), Safari, David, Emily, Stephanny, Keira and predeceased by infant grand daughter Holly Rae. Ray is survived by siblings Stanley (Barb), Thomas (Joan), Leonard (Violet), Arnold, Marie (Frank), Vida, Grace, Elva, Bob (Darlene) and predeceased by parents Bert, Bertha and Lillian Botham. Ray will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday March 11, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Ray Botham will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 12, 2011. Cremation has taken place. Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
