PIERRETTE "PETE" CALDWELL of Burk's Falls (nee Gionet) Suddenly at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on Thursday October 12, 2017. Pete, beloved wife of Murray, was 59 years old. Loving mother of Calvin Caldwell (Stephanie) and Renae Steengaard (Rick). Proud grandmother of Rhys, Jordan, RJ and Nicole. Dear sister of Joanne, Denise (Greg), Mike (Cindy), Diane (Tim) and the late Lionel. Loving daughter of Leo and the late Irene Gionet, daughter in law of Betty Caldwell and sister in law of Al Caldwell. Pete will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Monday October 16, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Pete's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday October 17, 2017 with David Woodall officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 405 would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
