PHILIP "Tex" LIEPINS of Magnetawan and formerly of Palmerston Suddenly at his home in Magnetawan on Wednesday July 27, 2016. Tex Liepins, beloved husband of Daina, was in his 57th year. Dear father of Melany (Jeremy), Josh (Mallory), Cory (Angela) and fur child Jimmy. Proud grandfather of Aurora. Cherished son in law of Ines Liepins. Tex will be fondly remembered by Bill and Cheryl Tough, Rick and Deb Block and many other dear friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday July 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. A service to celebrate Tex's life will follow in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, memorial donations to Lung Cancer Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
