MR. PETER JOHANNES TURUNEN Of North York Suddenly at his residence on Monday March 22, 2010. Mr. Peter Turunen was in his 50th year. Beloved son of Raija and Olavi Turunen of Burk's Falls. Dear brother of Ulla Theoret (Steven) of Michigan. Cherished uncle of Thomas, Paul and Hans Theoret. Peter will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends in Canada, the United States and in Finland. Peter was an employee of Tremco Manufacturing for over 25 years. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Turunen will be conducted in the chapel of the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 27, 2010. Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. Spring interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
