PETER ROY HUNTER Of Burk's Falls Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday December 20, 2010 in his 86th year. Pete Hunter, beloved husband of Jean Hunter (nee Bell-Towns) of Burk's Falls. Dear father of Paul Hunter (Nellie) of Burk's Falls and Tom Hunter (Linda) of Sundridge. Loving grandfather of Sherri Huckstep (Mark), Sarah Vanderwende (Craig), Allison Slack (Tim), Stephanie Parkin (Noah) and the late Christopher Hunter. Cherished great grandfather of Hannah and Adam Huckstep, Emma Vanderwende, Oliver and Elliot Slack and Bella Parkin. Brother of Rod (Angie) of Gravenhurst. Fondly remembered by his niece Cathy Hunter and his many friends in the area. A service to celebrate the life of the late Pete Hunter will be conducted at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #405 in Burk's Falls on Monday December 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Graham McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Our Community Works or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
