Lovingly at home with his family by his side on Friday May 8, 2020.  Paul Schmeler, beloved husband of Debbie, was in his 58th year.
Dear father of Chad (Brittany) and the late Kyle Schmeler.
Proud Grampie of Presley, Nash and Franklin.
Loving son of Dave and Jean Schmeler and Esther and Frank Gavine.
Cherished brother of the late Cindy, Kathy (Gord), Terry (Holly), Fran (Kari), Linda and Shelly.
Paul’s life was truly lived in faith, hope and love.  Paul’s hugs were as big as heart and the love in his eyes for his two sons and three grandsons told just how deep the love  of God runs.  We were all so blessed to have him, from his parents, siblings, family, friends, to the people he so honestly served in his business.  Paul’s life is easily summed up with the song that was his favorite: Amazing Grace; that which he so freely received and then gave out.  GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Due to COVID-19 restrictions private family services have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls with a public memorial service to be held in the Church of Christ in Burk’s Falls at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
