Mr. Orville Bruce Sharp
Of Huntsville and formerly of Burks Falls

Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Monday December 7, 2020.  Mr. Orville Sharp, beloved husband of Jane Sharp, was in his 85th year.
Dear father of Lee (Lisa), Lisa and David (Jodi).
Proud grandfather of Reegan (Keagan), Taryn, Taig, Samantha and Gillian.
Orville is survived by his siblings: Allin (late Nettie) and Joan (late Don) and  predeceased by siblings: Betty, Gladys, Jackie and parents Alvin and Hattie Sharp.
Orville was the manager of the Royal Bank in Burk’s Falls from 1972 to 1991, a Lion’s Club and Legion member, a parishioner at the Burk’s Falls United Church, a long standing member of the Katrine Golf Club and an avid curler.  He will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Friday December 11, 2020 from 1 to 3 p.m
A service to celebrate Orville’s life will be conducted at the Burk’s Falls United Church, 135 Yonge Street in Burk’s in Falls commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 12, 2020 with Reverend Linda Newnham officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
