MR. NORMAN ALFRED ROBINS of Sundridge Peacefully with his family by his side at the Algonquin Grace Hospice on Tuesday September 2, 2014 in his 79th year. Norman Robins, beloved husband of Bella Robins (nee Coombs). Dear father of Heather Thompson (Mike), Donna Mae Robins (Mike Reid), Norma Jean Nowicki (Krzysztof) and Albert Robins (Amanda McIntosh). Loving grandfather of Charity Davis (Glenn), Stephanie Thompson, Samantha Thompson, Emmitt Reid and Brayden Nowicki. Predeceased by parents Ian and Evelyn (nee Noll) Robins, sisters Ina Brooks (survived by Oliver), Grace Hall (Aubrey) and brother Levi Robins (Ann). Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Friday September 5, 2014 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Norman Robins will be conducted at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, 15 Buckhaven Road in Sundridge on Saturday Septemeber 6, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Dan Thompson officiating. Interment at the Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
