MRS. NELLIE BERYL BROWN (of South River) Peacefully at Eastholme in Powassan on Monday August 30, 2010 in her 99th year. Nellie Brown (nee Drinkwalter), beloved wife of the late Norman Brown. Dear mother of Mary Beetham (late Lyle), Wade Brown (Carol), Bill Brown (late Donalda), Ellen Levere (Wilson), Robert Brown (Peggy), and Brian Brown (Cathy). Loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Survived by three brothers and predeceased by ten siblings. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Chalmers United Church in South River on Wednesday September 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Nellie Brown will be conducted in the church on Thursday September 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Dennis Landry officiating. Interment at the South River Cemetery. If desired, memorial donation to Chalmers United Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
