MURRAY VAN WYCK of Kearney Peacefully at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday August 9, 2017. Murray Van Wyck, happily married to his wife and partner Christina (nee Chard) for 55 years; was in his 90th year. Murray is survived by his sister Shirley (Herb Scott) and predeceased by siblings: Ken (Helen), Webb (Thelma), Roy, Lenora (George), Harold (Florence), Norman (Joan) and Edna (Bill). Murray will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A service to celebrate Murray's life will follow in the chapel commencing at 2:00 p.m. with David Woodall officiating. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huntsville Hospital in appreciation for the wonderful care he received; would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
