MR. MURRAY GORDON WEBBER Of Burk's Falls It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Murray Gordon Webber on February 4, 2012. Born in Burk's Falls on July 26, 1933 to his proud parents Joshua Webber and Ina Grace Webber (Nicholls). Murray is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 44 years, Eva Webber (Carlson/Anderson) and his cherished daughter Marie Webber (Rob), his brother Calvin Webber (Adeline) and sister Jean Cuthbertson (Al). He will also be sadly missed by his extended family: Fred Carlson (Lorraine), Rene Carlson (Donna), Lillian Johnson (Dave), Barbara Webb (Jeff), Judy Leggett (Steve) and Chris Carlson (Kathy) as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Murray will always be remembered for his love of horses, country music, endless repertoire of jokes, sense of humour and contagious laughter. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday February 8, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Webber will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 8, 2012 with Reverend Les Drayer officiating. Spring interment in the Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
