Passed away suddenly at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Saturday November 2, 2019 in his 79th year.
Murray Ticknor, beloved husband of 57 years to Gail Ticknor.
Loving dad of Rick (Linda), Ron (Linda) and Tim (Corry).
Proud grandpa and pappy of Richard, Wendi-Ann, Jeffrey, Christopher, Michelle, Cayle, Tanner, Emilina, Jeremy, Justin and many great-grandchildren.
Cherished brother of Jim (Anne), Joanne (Ken) and Robert (Patricia).
Predeceased by parents Bruce and Phyllis.
Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Thursday November 7, 2019 from 6-8 P.M.
A service to celebrate the life of the late Murray Ticknor will be conducted in the chapel on Friday November 8, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Burk’s Falls Community Bus (cheques made payable to the Village of Burk’s Falls) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
