MR. MORLEY JOHNSTON Of Magnetawan Morley Johnston, also known as Moe, MoJo, Dad, and Poppa; in his 65th year, two and a half years after receiving the gift of life of a double lung transplant, passed away peacefully on May 31st in the North Bay General Hospital with his wife, son, and daughter at his side. Beloved son of Elizabeth Delaney and Vernon James Johnston. Dear husband to Carol for 38 years and wonderful father to Ross (Alisia) and Shona (Marty). Doting Poppa to Jacob, Ryan, and Paityn. Brother to Brian (Mary), Pierce (Bobbie), Susan (Renee), and Bruce. Uncle to Ken (Sue), Dawn (Lisa), Madison and friend of many. The family wishes to thank the following team of professionals including doctors, nurses, RT's, PT's, and hospital staff at: Toronto General Hospital ICU and Transplant Team, North Bay General Hospital Renal Clinic, the staff on the third floor East wing and CCU, and the staff at Huntsville Hospital. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday June 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday June 5 from 11a.m. until time of service. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Johnston will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday June 5, 2010. Maureen Ellison officiating.
