MR. MICHAEL "SCOTT" PHINNEY Of Sundridge Peacefully at his residence on Monday April 5, 2010. Scott Phinney was in his 33rd year. Beloved son of Betty Whitehead and Les Phinney (Barb). Dear brother of Betty (Ron) and Christina (Allie). Predeceased by brothers James and Brian. Dear uncle of Stephanie and Trevor (Kim). Proud great uncle of Nicole. Scott will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday April 7 2010, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate Scott's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 8, 2010. Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in the Burk's Falls Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the Make A Wish Foundation or the Sunshine Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
