Marjory Edna Parkes
Of Sundridge
Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Thursday, February 16, 2023, she was in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Everett Parkes. Cherished mother of Betty McLaren (Keith), Steve Parkes (Debbie), Kevin Parkes (Aileen), Rick Parkes (Brenda) and she is predeceased by her daughter Lois Parkes and daughter in law Laurie Parkes. Proud grandmother of Cindy (Gerry), Jeff (Kathy), Kim (Remi), Jennifer (Allan), Brad (Courtney), Adam (Trista), Neil (Kate), Jim, Kristen (Steven), Joe (Mallory), Andrew (Christine), Holly (Dan) and her thirty great-grandchildren with one more on the way and her three great-great grandchildren. Sadly missed by her sister in law Francis Boyes and brother in law Bob Petrie, she is predeceased by all of her siblings Ted, Marion, Shirley, Barry & Allan. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Bethel Pentecostal Church in Sundridge on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be livestreamed by the church, please paste the following link into your browser to watch:

A private spring internment will take place at Strong Cemetery.
