MRS. MARJORIE CECELIA LAWRENCE (Nee Pearson) of Burk's Falls It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Marjorie at her home in Burk's Falls on Friday March 9, 2012 in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Lawson and her dear sister Josie. Marjorie is survived by her children Denis (Linda), Brian (Darlene), Marjorie (Larry) and Hubert (Terry) as well as 11 grandchildren; Meghan (Neil), Ian, Michael, Dustin (Angel), Brandon, Tammi (Kirk), Nigel (Hollie), Loredana (Zinc), Adam (Lindsay), Robin (James), Daniel (Haleigh) and will be missed by her 18 great grandchildren. Marjorie is also survived by her nephew Peter and his family. Her family would like to extend a very special thanks to the friends who have been so kind to Mum over the years, especially Lily Simpson, Carol and Glen Pink and Dr. Graham Wood. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Sunday March 11, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Marjorie Lawrence will be conducted in the chapel on Monday March 12, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Burk's Falls at 11:00 A.M. with Father John Albao officiating. Interment at the Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fonthill, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
