Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday April 14, 2025. Marie, beloved wife of the late Jack Lacombe was 89 years old.

Dear mother of Debbie O’Hallarn (Bill), Dan Lacombe (Bonnie) and Shelley Albright (Dan).

Loving grandma of Amber Charlebois (Brandon), Leah Bell (Chris), Shea Lacombe (Jaymie), Scott Lacombe (Isabelle), Joe Schell (Melanie) and proud G.G. of Hanna, Owen, Ava, Liam, Maya, Madix, Pearl and Claire.

Predeceased by son-in-law Moe Schell.

Marie is the last of a family of 10 children and will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends, especially by nephew Jim White and niece BettyAnn Smith.

Marie, a retired teacher, was passionate about her family, her church, her students, curling and many friends.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Monday April 21, 2025 from 11am until 1pm. A service to celebrate Marie’s life will follow commencing at 1pm with Reverend Fraser Williamson officiating.

Spring interment in South River Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
