Marianne Ogston

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Huntsville on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, she was in her 79th year. Marianne was a selfless person who deeply loved her entire family. They always came first. She had an intense love and connection of the outdoors and nature and looked forward to time spent at their cottage. Always eager to lend an ear, or helping hand, to anyone, in need. She impacted countless people and always had the very best of advice, without judgment. Her beauty, kindness and empathy will be missed by anyone who had the honour of knowing her. She was the beloved wife of Nigel Ogston. Cherished mother of Rick (Cheryl), Laurene (Craig), Roy (Susan), Joe (Charity), Cheri (Scott), predeceased by her son Terry. Stepmother to Kelsey, Breanne, Morar (Andrew) and Blythe (Maia). Proud grandmother/grannycat of Cheri, Ryan, Holly, Jordon, Leah, Justin, Mike, Kaitlyn, Riley, Madison, Corey, McGregor and Riley. Great grandmother/grannycat cat of Lexa, Paisley, Landon, Kai, Kingston and Talen, Ensley, Harper and Rose. Marianne will be sadly missed by her siblings Tony (Dot), Tom (Patti), and Lois (Bob). Predeceased by her brothers, Joe and Dave. 

Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 10, 2025. Details to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel.
