Peacefully at The Gardens of Parry Sound on Monday January 25, 2021.  Margaret Shamess, beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Ameline Shamess, was in her 83rd year.
Dear sister of Marion Kinch.
Loving aunt of Karin Kinch and Craig Kinch.
Marg was a teacher for all of her working years. She loved Sudoku, Crosswords, Bingo, Euchre and Bowling. An accomplished singer and organist; she looked forward to church every Sunday.
Marg will be missed by her family and many friends (especially by Rick and Tom, Jane, Gerald, Garfield and Autumn).
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions a private service will be conducted at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burks Falls.
Spring interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Parry Sound.
If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
