MRS. MAISIE KNOX (nee Walsh, Lockyer) of Kearney Peacefully at her residence in Kearney on Monday February 2, 2015. Mrs. Maisie Knox, beloved wife of Bill Knox, was in her 93rd year. Dear mother of Madeline Fitzsimmons (late Ron), Roch Lockyer (Caroline), Gloria Rudnicki (Leo), Allan Lockyer (Rosalee), late Jake Lockyer (Vickie) and Neil Lockyer (Deborah). Stepmother of Carolanne Hunt (Bill). Proud grandmother of Ron (Deborah), Heather (Alex), Roch Jr., Kathleen, Peter (Melanie), Allan (Brooke), late Laura (Lee), Lela (Mike), Luke, Mosher, Frank (Tara), Lindsay, Sarah, Ashley (Dion), Stephanie (Adam) and Hayden. Great grandmother of Colton, Kevin, Raeanne, Kathleen, Cameron, Veda, Kira, Alexa, Jeffery, Jason, Matthew, Kieran, Kai, Owen and Makayla. Maisie will be fondly remembered by all of her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church in Kearney commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 2, 2015 with Father John Albao officiating. Interment in the Knox United Cemetery in Kearney. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
