MRS. MAE VICTORIA GRUNIG of Sundridge Peacefully at the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Sunday January 29, 2017 in her 99th year. Mae Grunig (nee Morris), beloved wife of the late Cecil Grunig. Dear mother of Daniel Grunig (Josephine) of Westport and Mary Binsted (Kevin) of Orillia. Loving grandmother of Edward and Casey. Predeceased by parents George and Janet (nee Mather) Morris; sisters: Mabel Osborne (Earl), Lillie King (Archie), Ella King (Roy), Laura Stewart (Howard), Jean Grunig (Ralph); brothers Gordon Morris, Angus Morris (Madge), Wilbur Morris, Duley Morris (Hilda); sister-in-law Jean Grunig and brother-in-law Milton Grunig. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge on Wednesday February 1, 2017 from 1-3 and 6-8 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Mae Grunig will be conducted at Knox Presbyterian Church, 59 Main Street in Sundridge on Thursday February 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Les Drayer, Reverend Doctor Walter Winger and Reverend Dale Broadworth officiating. Spring interment at the Wattenwyle Cemetery in Lount Township. If desired, memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or Hospice Huntsville would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
