MRS. LYLA ARMSTRONG "Bobbi" of Burk's Falls (nee Burchill) Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Sunday January 10, 2010. Mrs. Lyla Armstrong was in her 78th year. Beloved mother of Mike (Suzanne) of Orillia, Tim of Kelowna B.C. and Terry (Tina) of Kenora. Cherished grandmother of Freedom, Alana, Tyler, Tim, Lisa and Katie. Great grandmother of Cambria and Lucas. Lyla is survived by her sister Blanche Nicholson of Smith's Falls and will be fondly remembered by all her family, many friends and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Armstrong will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 14, 2010. Archdeacon Eric Paterson officiating. Interment of cremated remains at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
