MRS. LORRAINE ALICE PEAVOY (nee Leach) of Huntsville and formerly of Emsdale Suddenly at her home in Huntsville on Sunday May 4, 2014. Mrs. Lorraine Peavoy, beloved wife of the late Wilbert Peavoy, was in her 76th year. Dear mother of Cynthia Austin (Perry), Wanda Snow (Randy), Bradley Peavoy (Julann), Lesia Peavoy-McGugan and Anita Schamehorn (Michael). Predeceased by son Terry. Proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Lorraine is survived by her sister Glenna Columbe (Patrick), brothers; Larry Leach (Mary-Anne), Wayne Leach (Linda) and will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Thursday May 8, 2014 from 12 to 2 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Peavoy will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday May 8, 2014 with Reverend Nina Fulford officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
