MRS. LINDA-MAY SMITH of Burk's Falls Suddenly at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto on Thursday January 2, 2014. Linda-May Smith, beloved wife and best friend of Paul Smith, was in her 63rd year. Proud mother and best friend of Robin Smith. Cherished daughter of Edrie and the late Earl Mathias. Linda-May is survived by her brother Jim Mathias (Donna) and sister Susan Osborne (Bruce) and is predeceased by her sister Evelyn Maeck and brothers Jerry and Reginald Mathias. A celebration of Linda-May's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 405 in Burk's Falls on Sunday February 2, 2014 from 1 to 3 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls. If desired, memorial donations to the Trillium Gift of Life Network, Sunnybrook Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
