MRS. LINDA DARLENE MAKI of Sprucedale (nee Burke) Suddenly at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Tuesday August 19, 2014. Mrs. Linda Maki, beloved wife of Paul Maki, was in her 68th year. Dear mother of Jeff Maki (Angela). Proud grandmother of Kayla and Jessica Maki. Loving sister of Bill (Edith), Joan (Ed), Sharon (late Vince) and the late Fred. Linda will be fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday August 22, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Parish prayers will be held in the funeral home Friday evening at 6 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kearney commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 23, 2014 with Father John Albao officiating. Interment in the Sprucedale Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the St. Patrick's Restoration Fund would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
